African Film Festival Atlanta Announces Film Selection and New Festival Producer

[ATLANTA, GA] (October 25, 2021)- The African Film Festival Atlanta (AFFATL) powered by the African Film & Arts Foundation(AFAF)  is pleased to announce the film selection for the Festival this year as well as a new Festival Producer, Sheree Amore. The African Film Festival Atlanta will be taking place from November 19th till November 21st, 2021.

This year, the African Film Festival Atlanta will be screening more than 50 films from a wide selection of narratives and documentaries from over 23 countries around the world. These films cover a wide range of topics from Afrobeats in Cuba to exploring livelihoods in the Soviet Union. A selection of the films will be up for awards with experienced film jurors with strong backgrounds in filmmaking, production, acting, storytelling and academia judging the eligible films. The awarded films will be announced during the festival.

The African Film Festival Atlanta is also pleased to welcome Sheree Amore, the new Festival Producer. Ms. Amore has a wealth of experience in festival production and administration, having worked with many top non profit organizations.
